To all supporters
Navesink Hook and Ladder Co. #1 is one of eleven fire companies within Middletown Township, NJ. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to protecting lives and property within our community. Although we receive some funding from our Township, we rely mostly on the donations from our community and surrounding areas, as well as, fundraising events to sustain our operations. These funds help us purchase and maintain firefighting equipment, train and educate our volunteers, maintain our building and fire apparatus, while also continuing to support and give back to our community. The Navesink Hook and Ladder Fire Company is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, allowing all donations to our company to be tax deductible.
This year we will host our 136th Annual Old-Fashioned Fireman’s Fair on August 7th , 8th , and 9th ,2025. This is our company’s biggest fundraising event. It is with the help of our loyal supporters that we have been hosting a very successful and popular gift auction each night of our fair for many years now. Prizes range from shops/restaurant gift certificates to overnight excursions. At this time, we are reaching out to all of you for help in preparing for this year’s auction. With your help we can continue to make this event a huge success which allows our company to continue helping and supporting our community.
Some suggestions for donations: Gift Cards, bathroom, Men, Women, and Children essentials, bikes, exercise equipment, lawn maintenance, outdoor furniture, kitchen necessities, etc. Empty baskets are always a must have. We are pleased to partner with the Ladies Auxiliary to put on an Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Parade every year for the Navesink residents. Santa heads out on the fire truck around Navesink every December. We also have other events, such as 50/50s and Fall Festival.
